THIS BULLDOG JOURNEY BEGAN WITH THE HIRING OF COACH DAN MULLEN IN EARLY 2009. OVER THE COURSE OF THE PAST TWO YEARS HE AND HIS STAFF HAVE POURED THEMSELVES INTO THE LIVES AND HEARTS OF PLAYERS AND FANS ALIKE, AND IN THE PROCESS BROUGHT A STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE TO THE FOOTBALL PROGRAM THAT HAS NOT BEEN SEEN IN DECADES.
THE 2010 SEASON RESULTED IN A RECORD OF NINE (9) WINS AND FOUR (4) LOSSES....WITH EACH LOSS COMING AGAINST A TEAM RANKED IN THE TOP 15 IN THE NATION. THE SEASON CULMINATED IN A GREAT WIN OVER THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN AT THE JACKSONVILLE GATOR BOWL ON NEW YEAR'S DAY, 2011!
