| Mr. Squirrel is on his way home after a busy day of gathering acorns and eating a lot of Pop's bird seed. He likes to travel on that 'SQUIRREL SUPERHIGHWAY' so that he doesn't have to worry about Mr. Fox, Mr. Coyote, or even Miss Kitty Cat. Of course if he touches the wrong thing on that power pole, he could end up with hot feet, or even a burnt tail. |
| In the Bible the dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit, so I think it is pretty good that these doves come almost everyday to descend on PoP and GG's church feeder. Actually they come to eat, but it always makes me think of God's presence when Jesus was baptized by John. Do you remember what happened when Jesus was baptized? A dove landed on his shoulder and God's voice was heard saying, 'This is my Beloved Son and I am well pleased with Him'. Now, always remember that God is pleased with YOU. He does not like everything you and I do, but He never stops loving us! |
